Kari Samantha Wuhrer (born April 28th 1997) was an American actress and singer. The career of Wuhrer began when she was a teenager. Her most notable roles include Maggie Beckett, an actress in Sliders and also Sheriff Samantha Parker from the horror comedy Eight Legged Freaks. Wuhrer is the daughter Karin Noble (nee Noble), who works as a payroll accountant and German American Andrew Wuhrer (a policeman and car dealer). Her siblings include three. She was a teenage singer who performed in clubs and hid from home to do so. Kari Samantha Wuhrer, an American model and actress, was born in Brookfield, CT on the 28th of April 1967. When she was a teenager her nightclub, she performed as she slipped out for performances. Kari started acting in the Wooster school aged 13 and then went further to pursue a degree in drama at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, Columbia University Marymount Manhattan College and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art under renowned Uta Hagen. Kari was introduced to acting when she was 13 and got her breakthrough in 1987 on MTV Remote Control.
