Kelly Clarkson was an American performer/songwriter, who became America's Sweetheart after she was crowned American Idol in the first series of the show. The win has not just made her known to the world, but resulted in a deal with several albums from RCA Records 19 Recordings as well as 'S Records. In the years since the win, she's released a variety recordings from her studio. Of these albums that were released, three made the top of the US Billboard 200 Chart while other albums were just a fraction of a centimeter away. She is among the top artists to made it through American Idol. She began to experiment as she achieved recognition for her various themes and musical styles. She often composed lyrics of her own. Her individuality and her singing talent earned her praise from critics, as well a few notable awards. She was awarded the Grammy Award 3 times. Alongside her music career, she also has appeared on television and in films. She is also the writer of the novel for children called River Rose and the Magical Lullaby as well as a member of numerous charitable organizations.
