Simone Biles
Simone Biles, American gymnast (born 14 March 1997 Columbus Ohio U.S.) is considered to be one of the top athletes in sports. In the 2016 Olympics held in Rio de Janeiro she became the first female U.S. gymnast to win four gold medals in a single Games and she was the first gymnast to earn three consecutive all-around world championships (2013-15). Biles grew up in Spring Texas in the Houston metro area, where she and her younger sister Adria were adopted by their parents Ronald Biles and Nellie Biles. Simone was introduced to the sport of gymnastics through her daycare instructor Aimee Borman at 6 years old. Biles stayed with Bannon's Gymnastix for eleven years. Biles was awarded a silver medal in vault in 2010 and also a bronze at the women's Junior Olympic National Championships. Then she moved on to the level of elite competition in 2011. She dominated her sport within a mere two years. Biles was distinguished by her constant, possessing an enthusiastic and lively personality, and also incorporating the most difficult of exercises in all of her competitions vaulting uneven bar floor exercises.
